Fitting Services
When choosing how to have your flooring fitted, there are several options to consider, including your budget, flooring type and preferred finish. At CGS Carpet Warehouse, we offer a number of options to suit your needs.
Your Fitting Options
1. Use our regular third-party fitter
Our trusted, regular fitter is experienced and skilled, providing a professional fitting service for flooring purchased from us.
2. Arrange your own fitter
You can purchase your flooring from us and arrange for an independent fitter of your choice to complete the installation.
3. Fit the flooring yourself
For those with the skills and experience, fitting your own flooring can be a cost-effective option.
4. We can provide details of local fitters
We can also provide contact details for other local or part-time fitters who have asked us to pass their details on to customers. These fitters do not work directly with CGS Carpet Warehouse and may be able to help with short-notice bookings, weekend or evening fitting appointments or projects further afield.
Booking a Fitter Through Us
If you would like to use our regular third-party fitter or to obtain the details of someone else, please contact us by phone, email or visit our showroom to discuss fitting costs and availability. We can also advise on any additional requirements, such as underlay, carpet uplift and disposal, or moving large furniture.
Our regular third-party fitter only fits flooring supplied by CGS Carpet Warehouse. They cannot fit flooring purchased elsewhere. This allows us to coordinate the flooring supply and fitting process from start to finish.
Please note: All fitters set their own prices for fitting and any additional services, including removal and disposal of existing flooring and moving furniture. CGS Carpet Warehouse is not responsible for these charges and cannot alter, negotiate or change the prices set by the fitter.
Fitting Times
Fitting availability varies depending on demand. During particularly
busy periods, fitting appointments may be approximately 6–12 weeks in advance. We always do our best to accommodate customers as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience during busy periods.
